The United Bodegas of America is calling for a change to the bail reform after the latest armed robbery at a smoke shop in the Bronx.
Surveillance video released by police shows one of the robbers smoking a cigar while holding the store clerk at gunpoint on Tuesday at the Smoker's Box on Baychester Avenue. A second man cleared the shelves of merchandise while a third suspect stood guard at the door.
In total, nearly $3,000 worth of cash and products were stolen.
United Bodegas of America represents the deli next door to the smoke shop, but they say this will keep happening until something is done.
