An NYPD officer from Yonkers faces federal charges involving sexual exploitation of a minor and possession of child pornography.

Angad Beharry, 46, and a second person, a citizen of Venezuela who lives in Indiana, were arrested Thursday, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

It is alleged the two conspired to induce a female minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct and to take explicit photographs and videos.

Authorities say those photographs and videos were transmitted over the internet to Beharry.

They say he possessed sexually explicit video and images of other minors.

Beharry, a 16-year department veteran, is being held without bail.
