The fall season has come and with the holidays around the corner, News 12 is making sure you know the holiday shipping deadlines for the U.S. Postal Service to ensure your packages get sent out on time.
There are 52 days until the start of Hannukah and 70 more days until Christmas, so the USPS is already revving up for the holiday rush. It has released its 2023 holiday shipping and mailing deadlines to help out those sending gifts.
The deadline for first-class mail, including greeting cards, is Dec. 16. The deadline for priority mail is Dec. 18, and for priority mail express the deadline is Dec. 20.
The USPS says that there will be no holiday surcharge this holiday season and no surprise fees this season.
