Vincent Van Gogh is viewed as one of the most influential painters in art history, but during his life he only sold two paintings. A new exhibition is exploring the life of the artist with a one-of-a-kind digital art experience.
The exhibit, “Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience,” opens this weekend. It focuses on the impact he made on the art world, offering a chance to learn more about the man behind the painting.
Van Gogh is often viewed as troubled. He only painted for nine years of his life, but accumulated more than 1,000 pieces of art.
The audience can view the late artist’s work set to music in a 30,000 square-foot space.
There’s also a virtual reality experience that offers a 360-degree perspective and a section for ticket holders to express their creativity.
Tickets are limited each day to allow participants to leisurely enjoy the exhibit.
