Monday kicks off the "Vax and Scratch" in New York which gives residents the chance to win a $5 million lottery prize for receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
Those who get their vaccines at Medgar Evers College, the Bay Eden Senior Center, the Javitts Center or one of the seven other state mass vaccination sites this week will receive a lottery scratch off ticket that may have a grand prize of $5 million.
It's the latest incentive being offered to encourage people to get vaccinated as Gov. Andrew Cuomo says vaccination rates have slowed across the state.
Until Friday, those who get their vaccine at one of the 10 mass vaccination sites will receive the scratch off ticket, which would normally cost $20.

Statewide, Cuomo says more than 18 million doses of the vaccine have been administered, with more than 800,000 of them administered in the last seven days.
Cuomo says just less than 52% of all New Yorkers have one dose of the vaccine and just less than 44% of New Yorkers are fully vaccinated.
Cuomo also announced that the state is also launching pop-up vaccination sites at several airports, including at JFK and LaGuardia.
Those will also be open until Friday.
