A woman says she was groped inside a takeout restaurant on Jerome Avenue on Tuesday.
Police say Lydia Nesbitt was approached by 39-year-old Mirode Elmsoxogu, who grabbed her in between her legs.
“I was in shock when the whole thing went down,” said Nesbitt. “Who would think that something like this would happen when you’re coming out for a meal?”
Surveillance video shows Nesbitt waiting for her food as the incident took place, before Elmsoxogu fled the store.
Police say officers later found and arrested the suspect. He was charged with forcible touching, sexual abuse, harassment and disorderly conduct.
