An Beal Bocht Café has been serving up poetry, comedy, live music and art along with delicious food and drinks for over 30 years in the Riverdale community.

The café is also a muse for local artists in the Bronx. Singer-songwriter Suzanne Hockstein describes it as a home away from home.

"First time I came in here, I thought I was someplace else," says Hockstein.

Visitors can even catch a play while they enjoy the delicious eats, all thanks to the Poor Mouth Theatre Company - an immersive experience many say they won't forget.

"All peoples of this community are welcome. We have all kinds of different music, all kinds of different peoples," adds Hockstein.
