Volunteers pick up more than 150 pounds of trash along Norwalk River

The city of Norwalk teamed up with the Norwalk River Watershed Association and the Grace Farms Foundation for the event.

Volunteers came together Wednesday to do their part to help keep Norwalk beautiful.
The Source to Sound River Cleanup event was held at 40 Cross St. along the Norwalk River.
The city of Norwalk teamed up with the Norwalk River Watershed Association and the Grace Farms Foundation for the event.
Volunteers picked up over 150 pounds of trash.
The goal is to keep trash from flowing downstream into Long Island Sound.
