Volunteers who run a community fridge program in Mott Haven says one of its fridges was vandalized Friday.
The Mott Haven Community Fridge program has been bringing fresh produce to the South Bronx for a year. On Friday, the group found one of their community fridges at the corner of St. Ann's Avenue and East 141st Street had been destroyed.
Volunteers tell News 12 they sprang into action and brought a new fridge the same day - which let people donate food once again.
