9h agoA vote relating to the future of the Nostrand Houses ended for residents Thursday and the final results are expected to be announced on Dec. 15.
The vote will decide if the NYCHA complex should enter the Public Housing Preservation Trust or join the Permanent Affordability Commitment Together program.
Residents also had the option to choose for their development to maintain the traditional public housing financing model and remain Section 9 housing.
