A line formed around 8 a.m. at the Bronx County Courthouse ahead of the scheduled 10 a.m. opening despite heavy rainfall.
Showers were steady through the day as remnants of Zeta were making their way through New York City.
Voting sites closed at 6 p.m. today, and Friday locations are open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Showers are expected to continue through Friday.
