Wake services held for Bronx officer in suspected murder-suicide

Funeral services will be held on Friday at St. Elizabeth's church in Washington Heights. He will then be laid to rest in the Bronx at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Wake services were held Thursday to honor the life and the legacy of police officer Alexis Martinez.

Martinez was tragically killed in what was believed to be a murder-suicide at the hands of his own father inside their Soundview home last Wednesday.

The wake took place at the R.G. Ortiz Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at St. Elizabeth's church in Washington Heights. He will then be laid to rest in the Bronx at Woodlawn Cemetery.
