A walk was held Tuesday in the Bronx, aimed at raising awareness about the problem of infant mortality.
Empty strollers were pushed through the streets of the Bronx for babies whose lives were cut short.
The Bronx Health Start program partnered with organizations to raise awareness at the event.
Neighborhoods like Soundview have one of the highest numbers of infant mortality in the borough. Causes of infant mortality can be anything from premature babies to Infant Death Syndrome.
The Bronx Healthy Start program focuses on providing mothers with resources and classes to guide parents through parenthood and avoid a tragedy.
