Members of the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club honored a fallen Sept. 11 hero on Saturday. 
A walk was held in memory of Deputy Chief Steve Bonano, who spent time working at Ground Zero.
Bonano succumbed to a rare form of blood cancer in January.
Organizers say were are proud to honor a man who spent so much time helping others.
