A personal finance website has released a study showing the states with the highest rate of people leaving their jobs. New York, New Jersey and Connecticut were among the states with the least resignations.
WalletHub ranked the 50 states and the District of Columbia to see how frequently people are leaving their places of employment.
New Jersey tied with Washington State at No. 44. Slightly less than 2.5% of people resigned from their jobs in the last 12 months. Connecticut ranked at No. 49, with 2.17% of people resigning in the last 12 months. New York was the state with people least likely to leave their jobs, with only 1.87% of people quitting within the last 12 months.
As for the states where people are more likely to leave their jobs, Alaska ranked No. 1, with nearly 4% of residents resigning in the last 12 months. South Carolina, Georgia, Delaware and Kentucky rounded out the top five.
