Tracking nighttime showers before a warm and comfortable Thursday in the Bronx

News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Allan Nosoff says Wednesday evening will see showers through midnight with some lingering rain for early Thursday morning.

NEXT: Scattered showers/storms arrive after 6 p.m. Showers linger into Thursday morning, ending around 7 a.m. - 8 a.m. A few downpours will reduce visibility briefly. Flooding is not expected. Brighter, breezy and mild Thursday and Friday.
TONIGHT: Scattered showers and a t-storm or two likely around sunset through midnight. Then lingering lighter showers through daybreak. Lows near 62.
TOMORROW: A shower or two through 7AM, then quickly becoming sunny and comfortable by midday. Highs only near 71. Feeling like the 60s with a refreshing northerly breeze of 10-20 mph. Lows down to 57, open the windows!
FRIDAY: Back to fully sunny skies and comfortable. Highs around 75. Lows near 59. Super dry which could increase brush fire risk.
SATURDAY – PICK OF THE YEAR? Sunny, warm, and dry. Highs up to 81. Perfect beach, BBQ, picnic, or any kind of outdoor activity day. Lows near 63.
SUNDAY: Sunny start, with a few clouds possible late. There will be a weak disturbance west of us that might spark a shower during the evening, but the best bet right now is that the showers will stay west. Highs near 82. Lows near 66.
EARLY NEXT WEEK: Very warm and becoming more humid. Highs in the middle 80s. Lows in the upper 60s. A chance of t-storms begins Wednesday.
