MONDAY - PRESIDENT'S DAY: Partly cloudy early, a late-day shower or two possible. Mild. Highs near 60. Lows down to 42.
TUESDAY - WEATHER TO WATCH: Mostly cloudy with a few showers likely from a clipper system with minor impacts to both AM & PM commutes. Highs at 53. Lows near 39.
WEDNESDAY - WEATHER TO WATCH PM: Cloudy and colder. Highs only near 46. Showers likely after sunset and moderate at times at night. Icy mix should remain north of NYC. Lows hover near 45 or rise.
THURSDAY: A fickle forecast. All depends on if the front sets up south or north of NYC. If on the cold side -- temps near 40. If on the warm side -- temps into the 70s. Models are all over the place and are not quite reliable at this stage. This forecast detail will have more clarity by Tuesday. Right now, going for a high near 60. Showers end by the morning with some sunshine late.
FRIDAY: Becoming sunny windy and colder. Highs dropping through the 40s and 30s. Wind gusts of 30+ mph possible. 20s at night.
