Mix of sun and clouds for Wednesday; soaking rain moves in Thursday
Wednesday will feature a mix of sun and clouds, but meteorologists are looking ahead to a threat for rain in the coming days.
Look for sunshine Wednesday with clouds increasing toward the evening hours. Highs could be up in the mid-60s in some areas, but in the mid-50s around the East End.
There's a chance for some spotty showers in the evening as well. Overnight lows will be in the mid-40s.
Thursday will be cloudy with rain that may be moderate to heavy at times. Highs will only touch the low-50s.
The rain continues on into Friday, but could be more on-and-off at times. By the time the storm moves out, up to 2 inches of precipitation could fall. Highs could be as low as the upper-40s.
For Saturday, skies will range from partly sunny to mostly cloudy over the course of the day. Highs will be in the mid-50s.
Sunday should offer some more consistent sun, but some clouds will still be in the skies. Highs remain in the mid-50s.
