Mayor Bill de Blasio announced Tuesday the city’s newest initiative to help renters and tenants struggling due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The mayor announced the Tenant Protection Portal that will be free and accessible to all tenants.
The portal will offer personalized help and include an eviction prevention tool.
The mayor also announced a commercial lease plan that restored $1.5 million in funding.
The plan provides free legal services to businesses, resulting in 900 cases resolved to date.
