Executive order requires hotels, rentals to fill out quarantine form before giving access to guests
Mayor Bill de Blasio addressed strengthening travel and quarantine enforcement for New York City.
The mayor says a new executive order will require hotels and short-term rental companies with travelers from restricted states to fill out quarantine forms before giving access to rooms.
He says fines will be issued starting this week for refusal to comply.
New Yorkers are urged to avoid COVID-19 hot spots when traveling.
Mayor de Blasio also addressed Get Tested Tuesday. The mayor says free COVID-19 tests are available at hundreds of locations across the city Tuesday.
