A water main break at the Kennedy High School Wednesday afternoon had the entrance to the school flooded for hours.
The break started around noon. Water flooded the entrance and spilled into the parking lot, causing a bit of trouble for school staff and parents picking up their kids.
News 12 is told classes went on as usual and the water was shut off around 2 p.m.
The workers on site say the break was likely due to frozen pipes and repairs could take a while, but the flooded waters were drained out soon after.
