A Bed-Stuy cocktail bar is back with drinks, reggae vibes and a new backyard area.
Lover’s Rock is known for its cocktails, music and dancing.
Bar Manager Joshua Alexander Jagmohan says they are grateful to open up for their customers.
“We’re really fortunate to open back up with that fan base,” Jagmohan says. “That loyal base.”
Jagmohan says the bar made a big investment with a new backyard to reopen. They will be serving beef, chicken and veggie patties to customers with their favorite drinks.
He also says they are hoping to get the reggae, dance hall and Afrobeats DJ back.
Briszeida Bullock says she is excited for the bar to open back up in her neighborhood.
“Such a staple in the community, I’m excited,” Bullock says. “I feel like they’re ready for the spring and summer. It’s coming to Bed-Stuy.”
Jagmohan says the bar is planning for the next 5-10 years so one hard, scary year can’t ruin that.
