Eating out
during the winter is tough especially with COVID-19 restrictions in place, but
Primi Italian Steakhouse in West Islip is getting creative. They are featuring
cool new options for guests to enjoy.
Like all
Long Island restaurants, Primi Italian had to pivot their business plan due to
the virus.
“Adapt the business, takeout,
social distancing, we’ve been very fortunate to
have a larger restaurant space,” says Frank Bono, owner.
With
winter coming and indoor seating limited due to the pandemic, this coming
season will be challenging for restaurants.
However, Primi Italian is in the igloo business, which is
a fun way to prolong the outdoor dining season.
The igloos fit up to six guests, so in the winter months ahead, you can still
out eat by eating in an igloo.
