A Baychester restaurant offering authentic Caribbean food is welcoming
customers back.
The Dumpling Cove thrived during the summer, but was forced to return to
takeout and delivery when cold weather came and indoor dining closed.
Owner Kerieth Mair tells News 12 that he’s grateful for all the customers that
come in and enjoy their jerk chicken, fish, famous dumplings and great décor.
“We have a beautiful area here, and we just want people to come back and enjoy
the experience that we have,” Mair says. “We actually bring the Caribbean to
New York.”
He says when it gets warmer, there will be karaoke and live music.
Mair says that he hopes more people can come out and enjoy his restaurant during
the difficult time.
“This is a little paradise that we have here,” he says.
