The mother of a slain Bronx teen is calling for justice nearly a week after her son was found dead inside a Bronx building Saturday afternoon.
Police launched an investigation into the circumstances that surround the death of 19-year-old Tristian Loran.
Loran was found inside the Castle Hill Houses.
Police say he sustained head trauma. No one has been arrested in connection to his death.
Loran’s mom is calling for justice for her son.
“I don’t know how I’m going to heal from this,” says Salena Sierra.
She says Loran was a natural talent who loved dancing and was an aspiring actor. Most recently, he played roles in "The Last OG" with Tracy Morgan and "The Blindspot."
Loran was the youngest of seven.
Days after his death, Sierra says this is all still shocking to his family.
“I never would have thought I’d be burying my baby. It needs to stop. We want justice for Tristan. We want to bring him home with his family where he belongs,” she says.
It was still unclear as of Thursday what brought Loran to the apartment on Saturday.
His family is now trying to raise money for a funeral, as it is something they were not prepared for.
Police are asking anyone with information to give them a call.
