WEATHER TO WATCH: Scattered showers, severe storms for end of workweek

Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Darryl Green says there are scattered showers and storms on the way for Friday, but it should clear up by the weekend.
Friday: Hot and humid, storms developing from the late afternoon to early evening hours. Highs from the mid-80s to the low-90s.
Friday Night: Evening storms followed by partial clearing, lows near 70.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, very warm and less humid, highs from the mid- to upper-80s.
Sunday: Very warm under a mix of sun and clouds, turning humid late, highs from the mid- to upper-80s.
Monday: Turning partly sunny, a slight chance of afternoon showers and possible thunderstorms. Highs from the mid- to upper-80s.
Monday Night: Hot and humid, a slight chance of evening showers. Lows from the low- to mid-70s.
Tuesday: Partly sunny, warm and humid. Scattered afternoon showers and possible thunderstorms. Highs from the mid-80s to the low-90s.
