WHAT'S NEW: Milder temps, less wind and more sun moves our way for Thursday & Friday!
WHAT'S NEXT: One more soggy and unsettling day is coming before this coastal low moves away from us. Enjoy the bounce back for the end of the work week to nicer weather, before a cold front arrives Friday evening. It will be a dry cold front, just giving us breezy but colder conditions for Saturday.
TROPICS:
There are two disturbances being monitored by the National Hurricane Center.
TWELVE – the latest tropical depression formed Tuesday afternoon from a wave near the African continent. It is forecast to become our next named storm, JULIA, Wednesday morning and then fade away by the end of the week, staying out in the Eastern Atlantic Ocean.
In the Central Atlantic, east of the Leeward Islands, there is a disturbance that has a 70% chance of development over the next 5 days. It will move into the Caribbean Sea as it travels westward.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Addison Green says showers and winds will linger for another day before nicer weather returns.
