STORM WATCH: Strong to severe thunderstorms to impact NYC Thursday

New York City will be impacted by a line of strong to severe thunderstorms Thursday, Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Darryl Green says.
The line of thunderstorms will approach from New Jersey with gusts of 40-60 mph. The storms are weakening as they move near the coast due to the influence of the cooler marine environment. Small pea-sized hail is possible. Tornadic activity is not expected. Downpours can total to near 1 inches of rain.
The strongest storms will hit around 4 - 6 p.m. but showers should continue through 8-9 p.m.
Overnight: Clouds thicken and mild. Lows near 60. S wind 5-10 mph.
Thursday - STORM WATCH Partly sunny with summer-like warmth, PM showers/storms. Highs near 77. Lows near 53.
Friday: Mostly sunny and nice. Highs near 68. Lows near 48.
Saturday: Partly sunny, PM showers. Highs near 65. Lows near 45.
Easter Sunday: Mostly sunny, a bit cooler. Highs near 55. Lows near 43. 
Monday: Mostly sunny and mild. Highs near 54. Lows near 44.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, chance for a few showers. Highs near 54. Lows near 44.
