A Bushwick pastry shop that's been around for 75 years is now back in business after it closed for nearly six weeks at the height of the pandemic.

Circo's Pastry Shop is most commonly known for one dessert -- its handmade, old-fashioned cannolis.

The neighborhood staple says it has missed out on a lot of business during the pandemic, specifically on wedding cakes.

When Circo's opened back up in May, its owner says it was their loyal customers that put them back on their feet.

"Everybody was nervous, everybody was worried," says Anthony Pierdipino, part-owner of Circo's. "But little by little we got together and we built back up."

Safety is still key -- only six customers are allowed in the store at once and masks are required.

Circo's is also seeing more online sales than ever before. They are offering door-to-door delivery options, curbside pickup and are working with delivery services to give customers what they want.
