We are just a few weeks away from sending our kids back to school in the tri-state area.
There are still many questions from parents on how to keep students safe, and from teachers on how to stay safe while returning back to the classroom.
News 12's Elizabeth Hashagen was joined by Dr. Sharon Nachman to discuss what parents need to consider as they decide whether or not to send their children back to school buildings.
Dr. Nachman is the head of the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Stony Brook Children's Hospital.
