Ingredients (4 scones)

  • 1 3/4 cups plus 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon raisins
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 1/2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 cup plus 2 teaspoons heavy cream
  • 3/4 teaspoon brandy
  • Extra heavy cream for brushing the tops

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients in the bowl in order listed
  2. Mix all ingredients till well incorporated
  3. Ball the dough and shape into a circle
  4. Cut into 4 even pieces
  5. Brush tops with heavy cream
  6. Bake at 330 degrees for 30 minutes or when golden brown on top and bottom
