Family and friends of a missing Bronx woman are calling on the community and the NYPD for help.
Pamela Alcantara's photo is now attached to dozens of missing person's flyers taped door-to-door with a pursuit for answers.
Alcantara's mother, Sunilda Rubiera, says the last time she and her daughter spoke on the phone was early Sunday morning as she was coming home from a church event and was preparing for another event at church in Connecticut later that day, but she says Pamela never showed.
"I called her friend and I asked her if she was in church because it was time for service and she says no Pamela never showed up for service," Rubiera tells News 12.
News 12 captured detectives efforting more surveillance at the scene on Wednesday. Sunilda says Alcantara lived with her ex and recently had plans to move out alone.
Her family says they are leaning on the help of the community and law enforcement for Alcantara's safe return.
