A 12-year-old Amber Charter School student named Aubrey says she was pepper-sprayed near the school after dismissal.
Her family tells News 12 that the girl responsible for the incident has been bullying her daughter for years.
After many school meetings, Aubrey's mother, Tiffany, says there hasn't been enough punishment to the bullies, and she doesn't understand why this keeps happening.
"Why are you doing this? Why did you do this to my child? What did Aubrey do to you that made you go up to her face, take out mace and mace her?" asked Tiffany.
News 12 reached out to Amber Charter School but has not heard back.
