Hundreds of Williamsbridge residents remain without heat and hot water, days after a water main break forced Con Edison to shut off gas service on Burke and Hone avenues.

Con Edison says crews are working 24/7 to restore service, but community advocates are stepping in, urging donations of hot plates, heaters and disposable goods.

“No one should be without heat and water this long,” one resident said.

Residents can call 1-800-75-CONED for assistance.
