Forecast Details:

Temperatures hold in the mid-40s overnight.

Breezy conditions take hold and continue into Monday, with southerly wind gusts approaching 30 mph. Temperatures will be mild, though coastal areas will remain cooler compared to inland locations due to onshore flow.

Temperatures on Monday will range from the 60s inland to cooler readings along the coast. A more pronounced warm-up arrives Tuesday through Friday, with temperatures reaching the 70s and, in some inland spots, 80 degrees.

Wednesday will be the day to watch, as temperatures could tie or set a new record-high at Islip. While a few spotty rain chances exist during the week, most days remain dry with no significant disruptions expected.

Skies will feature a mix of sunshine and clouds, with brighter conditions likely on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday will bring a balance of sun and clouds during the peak of the warmth.
