A woman and her two children were trapped inside an urgent care center over the weekend after the facility closed.
Denise McDaniel says it happened after a receptionist at AFC Urgent Care let her and her two children into the bathroom after seeing a doctor.
"She let us in to the restroom, she should have checked to make sure we left the restroom," says McDaniel.
A representative from the facility admitted over the phone that no check was done.
McDaniel says they waited 45 minutes for the fire department to arrive. She says she is grateful for their work. They were freed after about 15 minutes.
She says a representative from urgent care did reach out to her to apologize. News 12 reached out for a statement several times but has not heard back.
