A 51-year-old woman was found unconscious and unresponsive in a Morris Heights apartment building.
Police say they got a call around 12:18 p.m. Friday at 1600 Grand Ave. The woman was pronounced dead on the scene.
Neighbors say they heard commotion and saw detectives speaking to residents in the building.
The medical examiner is working to determine the cause of the woman’s death.
