A Bronx woman says the man suspected of shooting and killing a livery cab driver late Sunday night is the same man convicted of murdering her brother 15 years ago.
Deborah Colon says she was shocked to find out Benny Delgado is accused of killing cabbie Jose Pena-Seguira. According to Colon, Delgado was imprisoned for shooting and killing her then-16-year-old brother, Miguel Colon. Police say Delgado was released on parole two years ago.
Delgado, who is being held without bail, pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder. Delgado also pleaded not guilty to attempted murder and assault in the shooting of John Latigua, an alleged drug dealer, last week.
