Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson hosted a boroughwide Silent Disco at the Woodlawn Cemetery and Conservation Friday night.

The event was part of Bronx Week.

New Yorkers were in for a treat for this unique party as guests grabbed headphones and danced to some hip hop, R&B and some 70s' pop.

Organizers said they expected about 175 people.

It's been more than 40 years of this Bronx tradition that celebrates the borough with a parade, festivals, live music and, of course, the latest additions to the Bronx Walk of Fame.

This year's inductees include Luis Antonio Ramos, rapper Remy Ma and director Eif Rivera.

Executive director of Woodlawn Cemetery and Conservation Meg Ventrudo said the cemetery was the perfect place for the event.

"It’s incredibly important. We are here as a resource for the people of the city. We have 17 miles of road in the cemetery, especially when people want to social distance. Where else could you be outside and appreciate nature and really get a good sense of the history and legacy we have here in the Bronx?" Ventrudo said.
