The New York Yankees will take on the Minnesota Twins in the American League wild-card game Tuesday.

After 162 games and six months of baseball, Tuesday night the Yankees season could be over in the blink of an eye.

Manager Joe Girardi has been to the wild card game before and understands what it will take for his team to pick up the win.

The Yankees lost two-years-ago to Houston in the wild-card game. 

Now, after a one-year absence, they are back in the playoffs and back in the win or go home. 

The two will face off at Yankee Stadium beginning at 8 p.m.
