A Yonkers community mourns a 16-year-old boy who was killed in a hit-and-run crash Thursday on McLean Avenue.

A Yonkers community mourns a 16-year-old boy who was killed in a hit-and-run crash Thursday on McLean Avenue.
Christopher Jack Hackett student was struck by a van around midnight by the ACME shopping center. 
“It’s devastating,” says class mom Abigail Saunders. “Such a young age and a great future.”
Friends and family have created a makeshift memorial outside of McLean Plaza to pray and leave flowers at. 
Archbishop Stepinac High School will hold a prayer service Friday in the teen’s memory. 
The school posted condolences on Facebook and says counselors will be available at school Friday and next week. 
Detectives say they found the van and have a suspect in custody.
