Young people revel in West Indian American Day Junior Parade in Brooklyn

Young people brought the carnival energy back to Brooklyn with the West Indian American Day Junior Parade.
Colorful feathers turned St. Johns Place into a vibrant display of Caribbean pride.
Many children at the event said they were looking forward to it for months.
“My baby's been dancing since 6 a.m. I'm so excited. It's her first one,” said one mother.
