Another check of that hyperlocal forecast. Definitely not as cold out there today and we have the sunshine too. So overall, this is just about as good as it gets for us. Not a bad way to close off the month, but we start off December with more clouds and a chance for a shower in the evening. It's mostly light rain, but it'll probably be around through the whole evening commute. Then the weekend comes with cloudy skies kind of spritzes and a little bit of drizzle. But as you see, temperatures have been kind of hovering close to 50 this afternoon and then we drop into the mid forties for any evening plans. So 7 p.m. dinner time looks cool but not cold. We're chilly in the morning time on Friday, a few spots close to freezing, but I'm expecting us to stay above it. And then Friday afternoon, temperatures are mostly in the mid forties with high temperatures close to 50 but it won't feel as warm tomorrow. And that's because we have cloudy skies. Here's a look at four o'clock seeing very light showers pass through the city and that will continue kind of on and off for us here in the Bronx at five o'clock, still some light showers tomorrow and then closing off Friday evening with just mainly cloudy skies. Those clouds just are so stubborn. Best chance of seeing the sun is gonna be on Saturday, but there's not much of it expect clouds to build overnight. Saturday with a few showers. If you have late Saturday evening plans, I'm talking after dinner time, Sunday, rain pretty much expected at some point in the afternoon or evening. Definitely not looking like a total wash at this point. But the later you get in the day, the better bahrain risk gets. So you need the umbrella there. Probably gonna need it for Monday morning too. That's still a few days out. But at least temperatures still look quite mild there and we're expecting high temperatures to stay only in the mid forties from the middle of next week. It's gonna be a little cool.

The overnight weather and what we can expect tomorrow morning, Michelle. All right. Well, there is rain on the way, but tomorrow morning's commute actually looks pretty good. It's that evening ride home that will feature some of that rain and roads are going to be wet at that point. So the morning looks good. The afternoon looks good and you know what, those temperatures look good as well. It's another mild day, but unfortunately, the wet weather does win out winds are going to be and west pulling in that milder air. Now, all evening long, we've seen some clouds around, but the sky should be clearing by the time we get to the morning here, there's no rain though. Just some cloudiness hugging the 95 corridor basically from north to south. Here's the wet weather. It's a good distance away. It's coming at us from the plains and deep south. It's going to scoop up some of that moisture. But the good thing is this is not a big storm and it's moving very rapidly. So rain chances come in in the afternoon and they will exit at night. But that's not the end of the story. There could be more rain on the way throughout parts of the weekend. In the meantime, though, temperatures are cooling 30 on the way for the morning, it's not quite as cold and then fifties take over the next few days, but we'll have to carry those umbrellas as well and I'll be back with that full forecast. Tonight. A picturesque, wow, gorgeous view over the Hudson Valley with that sunset. But enjoy it while it last because tomorrow's gonna look pretty different with clouds and showers blocking that view Addison. Yeah, bring us the bad news attitude. Well, guys, it's gonna be a little bit of some split news right there because the good news is that the weekend is just around the corner. But the bad news, yes, we do have showers coming our way, but thankfully, it will not be a washout. Now for Friday we watch that rain shower activity come on in for the afternoon hour should be wrapping it up about 9 to 10 o'clock or so. We will be mainly dry for your day on Saturday. Another system passes us to the north, but a third system will come our way, bringing us some light rain going in throughout much of the day on Sunday, just on and off showers coming through. But breaking it down for you hour by hour through your day on Friday in White points, you can see 23 o'clock relatively dry then towards the evening commute time frame and into the dinner time hour. That's when the showers will be coming on in just on and off batches of light rain coming on down. But tomorrow is also the beginning of December. So let's go ahead and break down the monthly changes. We'll be seeing, we're gonna be going from an average high of 47 on the first to about 39 degrees. So getting a little bit colder, but the sun slowly, we're trying to set a little bit later in the day. And that is because we're going to be going in towards the winter solstice. Winter officially begins Thursday, December 21st in the evening hours. And then after that, we're going past the shortest time of the year. Well, shortest daylight time, I should say. Now thinking of December, you typically think of cold snowy conditions. That may not be quite the case. The temperature outlook for December shows us trending on the mild side more times than not. We're not talking sixties and seventies, but at least we're talking above average temperatures and you can see a large chunk of the country. We'll also be seeing a similar trend. Now heading out across the southern plains, we see showers out there. That is a system that's gonna be heading up in towards our vicinity. So towards Friday morning, we can see relatively fair skies Bruce. You're starting at around 38 Milltown, 41 around 915 clouds sticking on up towards lunchtime. Here comes the light rain coming down our way about 2 to 3 o'clock in the afternoon, widespread scattered showers between four to seven o'clock or so, wrapping on up between about 8 to 10 o'clock. And then once that system's out of here, the next one comes our way, sky showers will be around for your day on Sunday and unfortunately, through the evening hours as well, but going in towards Monday, the shower activity will start to fade very early on the day. So it just be partly cloudy and breezy high of 47. We'll be getting a little bit colder though for Tuesday and Wednesday and I think only topping out in the upper thirties for Hanukkah first night on Thurs.

Too, which is nice. So we're talking about those warmer temperatures for your Friday, maybe a little bit of rain late in the evening, but most of the day will be dry. Uh Let's check out Comack for Friday on Ruth Boulevard 53 degrees. Um It feels quite warm after the cold spell that we've had, we have sunshine in the morning. Clouds will kind of come in and thicken up through the day and rain will arrive after four o'clock, uh mostly in the evening, best time for rainfall around seven o'clock. So it's after dark. Look at our high temperatures for the next couple of days. We are in the fifties through Monday and then it will get a little bit cooler. We'll see some forties for the middle of next week and we have some sunshine on the way. So tonight it's mostly clear. 8 a.m. 38 Glen Cove, a little bit of a chill early on 39 Smithtown, 42 in Riverhead. And you see that warmer weather coming in for the afternoon with the clouds 5 to 6 o'clock, some showers. It's not too bad. It's a light rainfall and it moves through quickly by 10, seven o'clock, it's out of here. Start of the weekend will be dry. But we do notice those extra clouds around for Saturday also Sunday. So Sunday morning, there could be some sprinkles early then a break in the afternoon. You can see it here before more rain arrives at night. So good chance for rain. Sunday night ending Monday morning, it is a little bit unsettled with this mild weather around, but most of next week now looks pretty good. We'll see a mix of sun and clouds. It will be chilly with highs in the mid forties.

Let's see where our forecast is going as we head into uh the overnight hours, it is going to be chilly, but it's a seasonable chill. It's a clear to a partly cloudy sky overnight. Low temperatures, we're gonna go from the forties down into the upper thirties. It's a clear to a partly cloudy sky. It's a south westerly wind at around 5 to 10 miles an hour. Some of the coldest air is up towards northern sections of New Jersey and if you have a chance and you're up late at night, it is a stretch. Listen, it is a stretch, but there is an opportunity community maybe to see the northern lights even this far south in northern sections of New Jersey, you have to be looking north, you have to be looking low on the horizon so trees can't be in the way it's not going to be overhead, it is going to be on the horizon, but there is an opportunity maybe to see the northern lights a little bit later on tonight. That's if we could get rid of the cloud coverage, you gotta remember that we were, we're coming off of a full moon. So that's also not going to help viewing as well. But there's still that chance tonight's temperatures backing down into the mid to upper thirties, which is normal for this time of year, early sunshine giving way to cloud coverage. And then we've got the showers that'll be moving across the area at some point late tomorrow afternoon. It's cloudy on Saturday. We see more rain showers returning on Sunday, a little bit of a break. Monday afternoon going into Tuesday and we'll have the opportunity for some rain showers moving into the forecast by middle of the week next week. But temperatures are really starting to drop again back into the mid forties. I'll have more details coming up in just a little bit.
