A 37-year-old man is dead after a shooting Wednesday night.
Police say they responded to a 911 call in Morrisania that led them to the scene of the deadly shooting.
They say they found the victim shot in the back at 955 Cauldwell Ave.
Officials say the victim was pronounced dead at Lincoln hospital.
Some in the area say incidents like this are common.
The victim's name has not been released yet, pending family notification.
Police say there have been no arrests at this time.
