TODAY: More Rain. We’ll make up our entire April rainfall deficit by tomorrow. About 1.5 inches fell across the boroughs in total including last night additional storms. We’ll get another round of rain tomorrow with morning showers and midday non-severe rain. About the same amount fell Upstate yesterday, adding to the city’s reservoir system, which has dipped to 94% of capacity as of yesterday morning. Normal reservoir capacity for late April is 98%. Once this morning’s showers wrap up by 8am today, the sun shines all day and light breezes help us reach 64. Clouds and showers return late tonight and last into tomorrow morning. The next round of briefly heavy rain comes in around noon tomorrow with clearing and cooler weather arriving by the evening. The rest of the week is cooler and dry with the northern Bronx neighborhoods dipping into the upper 30s on some mornings. Unseasonably cool highs through Saturday will not reach 60. mike
