An early morning car crash killed a man and sent three women to the hospital.
Police say it happened at 222nd Street and Eastchester Road at around 2 a.m. Saturday.
Officers say Alvin Fuster, of the Bronx, was driving a BMW down East 222nd Street when a Dodge Avenger crashed into his car, causing him to spin out of control and slam into a utility pole.
Witnesses say he hit the pole so hard, his car actually wrapped around it.
The driver was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The three people in the Dodge Avenger, all women in their 20s, were sent to Montefiore Medical Center. Officials say they are in serious but stable condition.
