Two people are recovering after a house fire in Throgs Neck Tuesday morning.
Emergency crews had to rescue one of those people from the burning home on East Tremont Avenue. That individual was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
The other person was already outside the home when crews arrived.
Three dogs were also rescued from the home.
It was not immediately clear how the fire started.
