1 train shut down for track work this weekend
The 1 train has been shut down for the weekend as the MTA performs track work.
Shuttle buses will be provided from the Van Cortlandt Park station to the 207th Street stop in Manhattan. From there, commuters can take the A train or another shuttle bus downtown.
MTA workers say the buses will arrive every five to 10 minutes.
The track work began Friday night 11:30 and will continue until 5 a.m. on Monday.
