2 men arrested in connection with 156th Street stabbing
Two men were arrested overnight in connection with a stabbing on East 156th Street.
Police say the suspects chased after a 28-year-old man on Wednesday around 5:30 p.m. and stabbed him multiple times in the back until he fell to the ground.
Authorities rushed the victim to Lincoln Hospital with life-threatening injuries, but he has since been upgraded to stable condition.
Police arrested 21-year-old Anthony Morales and charged him with attempted murder in the case. Morales lives in the St. Mary's Park complex, which is a NYCHA property near the incident.
Reinaldo Lasalle, 20, has been charged with gang assault in the second degree. News 12 has learned that he has four prior arrests, mostly drug related.
