Bricks fell from the third floor of a Morris Avenue apartment building down to the sidewalk below Tuesday.
Damage to the building was visible from the ground. Witnesses say they heard a loud crash and found bricks shattered on the concrete.
Fire officials say they couldn't pinpoint the cause for sure, but the tumultuous weather may have caused the 3 p.m. fall.
Officials say there were no injuries, even though the fall occurred on a street with a lot of local traffic.
Workers have since cleared the debris.
